Digital Learning Specialist

The Digital Learning Specialist will be responsible from programme application to end user elements of the Learning management system (LMS), for the business.

A motivated and dynamic individual with a passion for supporting team members and managers to learn and professionally develop through effective and engaging learning programmes.

The Digital Learning Specialist role supports the Head of People and People Development Manager, to provide solutions through the Flow E-learning platform to support other development programmes and career pathways.

The role will also involve working with a wide range of stakeholders across the business to produce quality, blended learning material.
 

  • Partners and consults with business divisions on the best recommended approach to digital learning options and opportunities
  • Create online course materials for key programmes in a variety of formats when required, e.g. eLearning, videos, screen recordings, webinars
  • Maintain and disseminate a suite of regular reports to key stakeholders in the business for training and compliance
  • Administration and responsibility for the management of the LMS (Flow Learning Environment)
  • Coordinate content development projects with SMEs and authors
  • Maintain the LMS (Flow), with accurate personnel and correct information
  • Supports the business relationship with the LMS provider; regularly communicates to understand new updates and potential offerings
  • Compiles business updates that demonstrate the requirement for digital learning, improvements, and successes
  • Manage the Digital Learning Helpdesk - Assigning new training, adding new starters, moving managers to correct branches etc.
  • Provide guidance on best practice for content formats and setting up courses on Flow
  • Assist with on boarding of educational technologies to internal and external colleagues
  • Assist with administration of new learning platforms as and when required
  • Keeps updated and informed on digital learning trends inside and outside of the leisure/hospitality sector
  • Manages and assist in ad-hoc data/reporting requests. Where possible, recommends more intelligent ways to deliver the data/report
