Marketing Executive

This role is for a key member of the marketing services team, ensuring all retail marketing across the business is consistent, fit for purpose and on-brand to enhance customer communications and drive on-park spend.

Job description:

  • Work as a core member of the marketing services team and the wider marketing team to drive retail targets.
  • Assist the Head of Retail Marketing in creating marketing comms plans for on-park retail marketing and supporting parks to deliver their targets and overall business goals.
  • Project manage any marketing communication activity to support the retail team to drive on-park spend.
  • Project manage the production of retail communications covering menus and point of sale material.
  • Support the parks and the wider business with signage requests.
  • Support internal departments with any marketing requests to ensure effective, on brand communications – this can be across a range of media including print and online.
  • Raise POs and support manage the marketing services budget lines.
  • Manage day to day relationships with key production and creative partners.
  • Assist with any other marketing activities required by the Head of Retail Marketing.
  • Gather, analyse and interpret continuous intelligence including industry trends and competitor activity.
  • On occasion you may be asked to perform additional duties or duties unrelated to your role after appropriate training has been given.

Person Specification:

  • Appropriate degree or professional qualification and/or proven experience in a busy marketing department.
  • 2+ years in marketing
  • Knowledge of effective POS
  • Some knowledge/experience of signage (entrance/way finding)
  • A keen eye for design and ability to create artwork that’s on brand and meets objectives
  • Experience of working with agencies
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Strong attention to detail and proof reading skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment managing multiple projects at any one time.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills
  • Strong Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills
  • Good relationship skills
  • Good commercial awareness
  • Strong team player
  • Passionate about improving customer experiences
  • Flexible approach to working hours and days
  • Driving licence as UK travel required.
