This is a senior role within the Digital Trading and Product Management Team reporting directly to the Head of Digital Trading and Product Management.
This role will be responsible for leading our Content Production team with day-to-day management responsibility for a team of content specialists. We are looking for an organised and creative individual who is passionate about content creation and development for digital and ecommerce.
Bringing a creative and focused mindset to the team, to challenge and help deliver wide ranging content development working collaboratively with our Trading, Experience Design and wider Commercial, Customer Experience and Revenue teams.
Success in this role will be measured by raising the bar on our digital product and content production experience, whilst maintaining a high performing organised team of content specialists able to deliver a structured content roadmap to support our online trading and customer experience needs.
This role will be a crucial to enable Parkdean to consistently create, maintain and develop industry leading product, experience and creative content to showcase our holiday and holiday homeownership experience, whilst putting our customers at the heart of our online presence.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the day-to-day management of the Content Production team
- Responsible for creating a robust, efficient and effective ContentOps workflow to allow the delivery of best-in-class customer focussed content
- Planning and managing content in line with the business and brand guidelines
- Supporting and leading where appropriate the delivery of a effective content strategy for our digital experience
- Using evidence, data and research to help define user needs and make content decisions
- Championing user-centred design practices and advocating for accessible products and services
- Using analytical and problem-solving skills to help the team challenge assumptions and solve design problems
- Manage the end-to-end content process for Parkdean as a whole
- Set and implement content strategy working in partnership with the Content Production Team and our wider marketing, SEO and digital Marketing Teams to deliver award winning campaigns, conversion improving journeys and amazing online experiences
- Create an environment where content effectiveness and creativity can be nurtured and developed and it’s important to be understood
- Create a strong measurement and effectiveness framework working alongside our Experience Design Team to help us understand how to constantly evaluate the benefit of our online content for conversion and customer support
- Lead and develop innovate new ways of working and content production to help operational efficiency
- Be the guardian of the highest possible content quality standards.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- 3-4 years' experience
- Demonstrable experience in content production
- A curious mind with a focus on customer experience
- Experience of working with digital marketing and SEO teams
- Confident working with data and in content management systems
- Project management and work/workflow planning
- Attention to detail and analytically minded
- Strong communication, organisation, and presentation skills
- Good negotiation skills
- Thrives working in a collaborative matrix team environment
- Able to manage a team of content specialists.
