We're looking for a proactive and highly organised individual to provide top-tier support to our Retail Director and play a central role in coordinating the fast-moving world of On Park Spend. This is more than just a PA role – it's your opportunity to combine classic executive support with hands-on involvement in team and project coordination.
You'll be the go-to person for managing diaries, meetings, travel, and communications, while also helping drive key projects, prepare impactful presentations, and keep priorities on track. What you will be doing...
- Provide full Personal Assistant support to the Retail Director: diary management, meeting scheduling, travel and accommodation booking, inbox management and general organisational needs.
- Anticipate needs and be two steps ahead in planning.
- Help support the delivery of the On Park Spend department’s strategic objectives.
- Support the Retail Director and the 8 Heads of Departments.
- Liaise with the On Park Spend team and other departments to gather information, schedule meetings and keep everyone aligned.
- Use your initiative to spot gaps, solve problems and drive progress without being asked.
- Take ownership of recurring team processes or reporting rhythms.
- Be central to maintaining the department’s great levels of engagement and interaction.
Some of the skills we’re looking for:
- Confident and assertive: You are not afraid to chase, challenge and hold others to account
- Organised and detail-orientated: You like lists, love a timeline and always know what is coming up next
- Proactive and self-motivated: You are a self-starter, you don’t wait to be told, you take initiative, problem solve and push things forward.
- Tech-savvy: Comfortable with MS Office (especially PowerPoint and Excel)
- People-person: Friendly, approachable and great at building working relationships across all levels. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple projects at any one time.
- A keen interest in F&B and retail.
- Strong Project Management skills: You know how to track actions, follow up with stakeholders and see projects through from start to finish.
Work pattern
- Office location: Parkdean Resorts Gosforth Central Office 3 days per week in the office and hybrid working optional for the remaining working days.
- Overnight stays are infrequent but may be required for training, events or project-related travel.
