Reporting directly to the Head of Investment Finance, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering strategic insights, driving efficiency, and supporting our leaders to make data-driven decisions that power our growth and success.

What you will be doing...
- Act as a first line of finance support for the Heads of Department (Property, Procurement & IT).
- Supporting key business decision making by Property Director and related stakeholders, providing insight, information and challenge on plans, spend and planning.
- Evaluating financial returns on both historic and proposed growth capital investments.
- Provide challenge to business stakeholders, whilst maintaining strong working relationships
- Carry out business planning, budgeting and forecasting exercises alongside cost leads/capex budget holders. Work collaboratively with the wider finance team to ensure an efficient and thorough approach is carried out
- Report on variances for both capex and opex spend levels, updating robust forecasts and understanding cash flow implications for the remainder of the financial year.
- Provide reliable input into the short-term and long-term cash flow forecasting process aligning with the FS&R and Accounts Payable teams in terms of supplier payment terms and sundry debt receipts, with explanation of variances to forecast.
- Work with all stakeholders to drive a culture of cash flow awareness.
- Providing financial expertise to key IT stakeholders from both a capex planning and opex control perspective. Providing financial control over all one-off IT projects/investment.
- Partner with the Procurement function, evaluating significant procurement plans and providing periodic reporting.
- Leading on all month end procedures/reporting
- Ability to effect change, identify and drive process and reporting improvements. Develop and champion more effective use of data by colleagues across the business to support better understanding and commerciality.
- Collaborate with colleagues in Financial Strategy and Reporting to support the continued development and use of the business’s capex/opex forecasting and budgeting models currently within TM1.
What we’re looking for...
- Qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) with several years PQE.
- Outstanding financial analysis skills, with the ability to gather, manipulate and present large quantities of data effectively.
- Experience with business partnering across various levels of management.
- The ability to influence timings and co-ordination of deliverables from the parks.
- Well-organized and able to develop and monitor plans to meet agreed deadlines unsupervised.
- Ideally regionally based in the Southwest or Newcastle based with the ability for regular travel.
- Regular travel to holiday park locations, mainly across Cornwall and Devon, the South Coast and Isle of Wight will be expected including some overnight stays.
