Management Accountant

Based at our central support office in Newcastle, our Finance Team are dedicated in providing expert support and advice throughout Parkdean Resorts.

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Management Accountant to join the Parkdean Resorts family.

Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager assist with the accounting for income streams, focusing on Holiday Home Sales, Holiday Home Sales Stock & Owner Income in order to provide key financial information and insight to the leadership team of the business whilst maintaining a robust controls environment.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Assist with the production of monthly management accounts, variance analysis and commentaries


• Assist and provide cover for the preparation of the HHS Stock Reconciliation including liaising with the Stock team to address reconciling items


• Completion of Balance Sheet Reconciliations, owning, monitoring and addressing reconciling items, identifying risks and opportunities


• Provide support during the year end process including liaising with auditors and responding to audit queries in a timely manner


• Assist the Senior Finance Manager in general Accounting tasks across Holiday Home Sales, Owner Income and Holiday Home Sales Stock


• Preparation of weekly Pitch Report


• Preparation of monthly KPI’s


• Safeguarding your own health and safety and that of your colleagues, customers and visitors. Co-operation with Management to enable compliance with health and safety. Ensuring quality, compliance and Health & Safety standards across the Finance Team.


• Ensuring an appropriate internal control framework is in place to safeguard the business and ensure compliance with financial standards and regulations

The successful Person will:

• Be Part or Fully Qualified


• Have experience of working with multi-site or similar size businesses


• Have experience of supporting operational teams


• Ideally have Sun systems knowledge


• Have experience of using Microsoft packages
