12 Month Fixed Term Contract - Commercial Business Development Manager
Pro-actively source new Strategic Brand Partners and drive the revenue and performance with a focus on need & off-peak periods. Optimise BAU trading performance through effective contracting, account relationship management and develop key stakeholder relationships across the wider business. Proactively manage the Strategic Brand Partners sales pipeline, engaging, negotiating, contracting and on-boarding new strategic brand partners.
Job Description:
- Negotiating win–win contractual agreements, in line with all company legalities and data protection.
- Develop & maintain strong, long-term relationships through effective account management.
- Maximise performance through implementation of marketing initiatives & opportunities
- Proactively develop the partnerships sales pipeline, identifying & converting prospective new partners
- Be the voice of our strategic brand partner client internally, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
- Work in conjunction with the revenue & commercial business development teams to report and evaluate partner performance.
- Prepare for customer & commercial meetings with the wider business, presenting performance results.
- Engage in weekly trade meetings, sharing insight & recommendations for driving brand partner performance.
- Ability to prioritise work load and work both collaboratively & independently to deliver
- Work with the wider commercial teams to manage & input into the trade calendar
- Ensure all promotional offers are proposed, agreed and delivered to meet required trading timelines
- Work with the marketing team on direction, content and execution of marketing campaigns
- Work with digital teams, ensuring partner landing pages are maximised for content, performance & tracking
- Ensure all partner activity is aligned with brand guidelines
- Create effective cross-function proposals to on-board new strategic brand partner from a multi-faceted approach inclusive of holiday guests, PDR team members & Holiday Home Owners where applicable
- Understand & articulate the legal contractual journey and support in negotiations throughout the onboarding process inclusive of working with key stakeholders such as procurement and DPIA
- Maintain close working relationships with stakeholders- Legal, DPIA, Procurement, Operations & Marketing to ensure accurate knowledge & understanding of ways of working for effective, timely onboarding of new strategic partners
- Understand the diversity of our portfolio and play to the strengths of individual parks when scoping & onboarding new partners
- Report any weakness or breach that you identify within the Company’s information systems or services (even if only suspected).

- Keep up to date with UK hospitality & leisure market insights, trends, competitors & brand partner activity
- Strong B2B networking ability to instigate, grow and nurture client relationships and maximise account potential
- Awareness of UK DMOs & how they operate and work in conjunction with Visit Britain to support our regional marketing activity and increase brand awareness
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- A results and target driven mindset
- A track record in maximising revenue opportunities without compromising on values and customer experience
- Experience of pro-actively sourcing & managing external partnerships which drive revenue
- Experience of multi-tier account management
- Successful in driving and managing change
- Excellent influencing skills
- Strong analytical skills
- The ability to forecast and identify areas of growth and opportunity
