Manage the Events & Marketing to efficiently deliver a first class events experience at the Vauxhall Holiday Park.
To drive repeat bookings with accountability through events management, marketing communication, media advertising and promotion, tourism partners, public relations and photography.
- Attend park events to understand what makes a great experience
- Review all events ensuring that plans are in place to repeat successes and utalise opportunities
- Work with the Park leadership Team to Create strategies to develop events across the park
- Work with the Park to drive Events revenue and occupancy
- Manage the financial aspects for all Events ensuring commercial profitability
- Support the Guest Experience Manager to ensure an exceptional guest experience for all Events guests
- Support the development of the company brand. Act as brand guardian ensuring appropriate and compliant use – including all material that is customer facing on park – promotional and non-promotional, across POS, retail promotions, entertainment and holiday sales.
- Create plans and manage the production of the point of sale
- Work with the GEM to create plans and manage the production of the customer communication for customers on arrival
- Manage the planning and production of annual marketing for the events calendar (including but not limited to social media platforms, brochure production, website)
- Liaise with wider departments across the business to ensure events are successful and that all opportunities for success are utilised.
- Plan and manage the relationships with the regional tourism marketing teams to gain exposure for the park/business.
- Support the park to manage and implement marketing communications and plans to assist other departments as needed.
- Assist with the Public Relations activity for the business.
- Ensuring quality, compliance and Health & Safety standards across Park.
- It is your responsibility to report any weakness or breach that you identify within the Company’s information systems or services (even if only suspected).
