What can you expect from a Complex Manager job at Parkdean?
What does a Complex Manager do? Essentially, they keep the wheels turning at our parks. As multi-site managers, they look after all of the food and beverage units and retail offerings that make up our fantastic complex. We depend on our Complex Manager to keep their team firing on all cylinders, guests happy, stock levels maintained, and safety procedures followed to a tee.
That’s the role in a nutshell, but there’s a lot more to it. Here’s how you’ll create positive change as a Complex Manager at Parkdean.
You’ll make great things happen every, single, day
Proving a great guest experience stands tall as one of our main goals. Why? Because when our guests choose Parkdean, they're signing up for a holiday adventure packed with awesome moments. And we want to make sure that every minute is unforgettable.
As a Complex Manager, your role is to weave holiday magic into every guest experience. Perhaps that means taking the time to connect with guests on a personal level or checking in with them throughout their stay. Like any management job, there’s always an opportunity to brighten someone's day. And that means there will never be a dull moment.
You’ll hire, lead and develop a team of superstars
Your day-to-day as a Complex Manager will be centred around your team. You’ll keep our one-of-a-kind team culture alive. How?
- Recruiting a-star people
- Training your team to be the very best
- Regular one-to-ones
- Weekly team meetings
- Career development conversations so everyone sees their future at Parkdean
You’ll remember that every team member is on their own journey, and you’ll support them in their own way. Your role is to shine a light on their strengths and help them level up.
You’ll be all about the number and targets
In this management role, budgets and KPIs will become your trusted allies. What do we mean by this?
You'll take charge of maximising sales in retail areas and spearhead promotional strategies for business growth. To support this, you’ll manage all promotional and marketing activities.
And why are those food and bar stock takes so important? Because you’ll need to share results with the wider business and tweak orders based on consumption trends.
You’ll wear a few different hats
If it wasn’t clear already, this role is pretty varied. You’re essentially managing a number of small business. When the General Manager isn't around, you'll be the one running the show.
For those aiming to climb the ranks to become a General Manager, becoming a Complex Manager is a solid move forward. It exposes you to different aspects of the job, making you feel more confident about that next step.
You’ll be a health and safety guardian
Safety is a top priority. Because at Parkdean, we’re proud to offer a home away from home, where people feel safe. Here's how you'll make that happen:
- Complete those all-important compliance checks
- Stay clued up on the latest safeguarding protocols
- Help your team understand the right way to serve drinks and maintain food hygiene standards responsibly
Lastly, you’ll snag some good benefits
This list would be incomplete if we didn’t mention the perks! From the Annual Management Bonus scheme to the 50% holiday discount, we've got some great benefits to offer. These rewards not only financially support our team but also allow them to enjoy the magic they help create. It's our little way of saying thank you for all their hard work.
