Park Positions: From Lifeguards To Wait Staff

Park Positions

At Parkdean, our busy teams support a wide number of guests across our many sites, where our park positions on offer cover a range of different sectors and industries. These include:

Accommodation

One of the most important parts of our holiday packages is the accommodation we offer our guests. This includes our caravans, campsites and holiday lodges, where our accommodation team deliver an essential customer service experience on a daily basis.

We offer accommodation management and supervision roles, which require our staff to lead the team responsible for maintaining and delivering our accommodation services. These roles demand key organisational and leadership skills, as well as a keen attention to detail.

In our accommodation department, we also offer numerous cleaner and porter roles, to help maintain the high standards of our parks. These roles require dedication to quality and precision, as well as an enthusiasm about delivering an unbeatable standard of cleanliness.

Administration

A key part of park management is administration, where this behind the scenes service helps us to deliver a range of exciting customer based services whilst keeping all areas of our site up and running.

Common jobs we have available include general administrator roles as well as administration manager positions, depending on your experience. These positions demand some technical skills and computer proficiency, as well as accuracy when it comes to processing data and customer details.

Entertainment

Our entertainment sector is one of the broadest categories of employment at Park Dean. This department consists of guest-facing roles as well as more support-orientated positions, where the aim of all of these jobs is to help our customers to enjoy their holiday experience as much as possible.

These roles include guest experience advisors, assistants and coordinators, where this team is responsible for managing and delivering all our entertainment packages. We also rely on a large team of lifeguards and pool staff, who ensure all our guests are able to experience our water-based facilities safely.

Our entertainment team necessarily requires excellent customer service skills and communication abilities, as well as a positive attitude towards delivering a top guest experience on a regular basis.

Food & Beverages

At our holiday parks, one of the things guests remember the most is their experience of our food and beverage facilities. This means that we always aim for the highest standards in our restaurants, bars and cafes.

Our wide-ranging team includes lots of chefs, as well as bar and waiting staff, where we rely on their attention to detail and customer care skills to deliver an unbeatable experience for our guests. We also employ lots of summer bar staff and temporary waiters to get us through our busiest seasons.

In addition to this, the food and drinks team consists of a wide range of managers and supervisors, whose organisational and leadership skills help to keep all our facilities on track.

Holiday Home Sales

In addition to providing on site holiday packages to our guests, we also sell a wide range of holiday homes and lodges. As such our sales advisors and assistants have the key role of promoting our holiday homes and securing sales on a regular basis.

To join this team, it is useful to have some hands-on sales experience, although in-role training is typically provided. We choose a sales team that is friendly, communicative and engaging to best represent the great properties we have on offer.

Head Office

Our holiday packages are expertly delivered on a daily basis by our parks teams, where their work is supported by key roles in our head office. These are also incredible versatile and rewarding, where our different departments include:

Finance & Accounts

At Park Dean, we rely on our finance and accounts team to manage the monetary side of our business. This includes creating budgets and producing sales reports. Various roles include financial managers, treasury roles and accounting positions. We look for experienced and qualified financial experts for these positions, with strong technical skills and an eye for detail.

Human Resources

We take staffing and training seriously at Park Dean, where we believe in the professional development of all our team members. As such our human resources department is a key part of our infrastructure, consisting of talent officers, training leads and hiring managers. We look for applicants with strong organisational and communication skills for these essential roles.

Marketing & Communications

Our marketing department is responsible for all aspects of Park Dean’s advertising and communications campaigns, designed to attract and retain guests across our sites. These roles include the management of our social media platforms and the creation of our promotional material. We look for creative and experienced individuals for these roles, with a flair for digital communication.

Operations

This is a wide ranging department within Park Dean that covers all kinds of essential roles designed to keep our sites running smoothly. Roles range from customer support positions to revenue and financial management jobs. Like all our vacancies, we choose candidates based on their experience and enthusiasm for the work we do here at Park Dean, where our operational teams are recognised for their organisational capabilities and technical prowess.

Apprenticeships
