Apprenticeship FAQs

Which roles do we offer apprenticeships for?

We can offer apprenticeships to all established and seasonal Parkdeaners. Everyone has the opportunity if they are over 16 and not in full-time education.

What does it cost?

Essentially there is no cost for an apprenticeship for the training. There will be other costs such as travel to courses in the region.

What do our apprentices do in the winter when we are closed?

During the winter, our apprentices have completed their normal working hours and will also have banked 8 training hours that can be used for the ‘winter’ period. These training hours will be used to attend virtual or face-to-face sessions with the training officers.

There will be an opportunity to earn extra money by working on one of our ‘Winter Wonderland Parks’ if you fancy it!

Now you know all about our apprenticeships what next?
