Job description

At Parkdean Resorts, our people are at the heart of everything we do – and so is our financial strategy. We’re looking for a commercially minded Financial Planning Analyst to play a key role in shaping our future performance.

In this role, you’ll produce accurate financial plans and forecasts across all three financial statements, helping to guide strategic decisions and drive our continued growth. If you thrive on turning data into meaningful insight and enjoy working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, this could be the perfect next step for you.

What you will be doing...

  • Producing accurate and timely financial forecasts across all three statements in line with business requirements
  • Managing the monthly rolling P&L forecast, highlighting key risks, opportunities and cashflow impacts
  • Supporting the delivery of in-year companywide budget and forecasts for balance sheet and cashflow, working closely with subject matter experts across Finance
  • Building long-term (3–5 year) financial plans, with guidance, to support strategic decision making
  • Developing scenario planning models to provide a range of potential outcomes and support risk management
  • Delivering clear, insightful analysis that tells the story behind the numbers for leadership and stakeholders
  • Becoming a superuser of our finance system (TM1), providing support and cover where needed

About you...

  • Part-qualified status (ACCA, CIMA or equivalent), or be qualified by experience
  • Experience of forecasting and budgeting across all three financial statements
  • Strong financial modelling skills, with advanced Excel capability
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • The ability to work at pace and deliver to tight deadlines
  • Strong organisational, communication and presentation skills
  • A proactive mindset with the confidence to challenge and improve processes
  • Experience with IBM TM1 (desirable, but not essential)

So, why Parkdean Resorts?

Well, besides the one-of-a-kind team culture, stunning locations across the UK, and the chance to work with the UK's largest holiday park organisation, we can offer:
