Job description

Revenue Assistant 

Our Revenue Assistant role includes all administrative tasks to ensure the reservation systems are optimised, maximising all selling opportunities from all channels (including Touring & Camping) and to support the Revenue Managers to identify revenue risks and opportunities, communicating actions in clear and concise manor to all key stakeholders.

 What you will be doing:  

  • Maximise occupancy and revenue in line with targets and profit improvement plans.
  • Inventory control – ensure parks are open as agreed in the annual operational calendars, all available fleet (including flexi fleet) and units are loaded with correct information.
  • Maximise selling opportunities by ensuring correct profiles in place across all accommodation.
  • Ensure third party agent bookings are loaded correctly and to support additional revenue generation such as upgrades and extensions.
  • Monitor charts and all available reports to ensure there are no unnecessary restrictions to sale e.g. pet availability, short breaks; in line with strategic and tactical objectives.
  • Highlight key concerns with any slow selling period or accommodation to help support promotional campaigns to drive booking volume and additional income e.g. upgrades, extensions, second holidays.
  • Chart tidying to ensure minimise gaps and maximise occupancy; where natural gaps exist highlight promotional opportunities.
  • Monitor performance of sub hire revenue to ensure we can capitalise on any opportunity to maximise hire fleet revenue.
