What you will be doing...
- Providing financial support, building partnerships and maintaining strong relationships with Central Business Unit Management.
- Providing commercial Insight to ensure key operational, commercial and financial targets are delivered.
- Identify and measure key success drivers for Central functions.
- Support Central functions in preparation of planning data by providing financial analysis and modelling. Responsible for planning data input into TM1.
- Managing daily, weekly and month-end processes with specific responsibility to improve timeliness, accuracy and efficiency of product.
- Lead the production of Central departments reporting including commentary and variance analysis.
- Preparation of Board Slides and commentary.
- Critically reviewing and enhancing processes, recommending improvements to ensure the highest quality of actual and planning data.
- Completion of Balance Sheet Reconciliations, owning, monitoring and addressing reconciling items, identifying risks and opportunities.
- Providing ad-hoc MI as and when required.
- Provision of technical advice during projects initiation and scoping. Testing and sign off for relevant projects.
- Driving improvements in the overall finance product and culture of the finance team.
- Lead responses to Audit requests during the year end process.
Some of the skills and experience we are looking for:
- Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA
- Experience of multi-site or similar size Business
- Experience of supporting operational teams & Business Partnering
- Line management experience
- Sun systems knowledge preferred
- Experience of Microsoft packages
