Reporting to the Application Support Lead, the Finance Systems Specialist will primarily be responsible for providing multiple levels of support to the existing Parkdean Finance Systems. Alongside offering support towards any Finance System development, project work and supporting the broader Application Support team as and when necessary

What you will be doing... 


  • Provide Support and maintenance to all Finance System Services. Sun Systems, Proactis, Proactis Marketplace, Q & A 
  • Manage and maintain system accounts, approval routes, templates, nominal creations, system queries etc 
  • Ensure the availability of all Finance Systems remain above an acceptable level 
  • Ensure Incidents and Requests are resolved within agreed SLA’s (liaise with internal and external parties where necessary) 
  • Support the delivery of business projects where Finance System support is required 
  • Create and Maintain Knowledge Base Articles 
  • Provide support and assistance across the broader Application Support Team where applicable 


Some of the skills and experience we are looking for: 


  • Strong working knowledge of Finance processes and best practises 
  • Ability to identify and promote continuous improvement opportunities 
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously  
  • Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail 
  • Ability to prioritise requests and incidents based upon risk, benefit, effort review
