  • Parkdean Resorts operates holiday parks in the UK providing a wide range of accommodation, together with on-park facilities including bars, restaurants, activities, amusement arcades and indoor and outdoor swimming pools for use by both holiday guests and holiday homeowners. Our vision is to become ‘everyone’s favourite staycation’ through our ‘passionate people, creating amazing memories’ across the generations.

    Parkdean Resorts generates revenue from four complementary and diverse revenue streams comprising (i) holiday sales, (ii) holiday home sales, (iii) owner income and (iv) on-park spend.

    As we continue to grow, we are seeking a talented Solution Architect with hands-on Salesforce Technical experience to join our dynamic team and play a crucial role in shaping our IT architecture.

    Position Overview:

    As a Solution Architect in the CRM and Salesforce domain, you will be implementing the IT architecture strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.

    You will collaborate with various stakeholders, including IT teams, business leaders, and external partners, to design and optimize our systems and processes.

    Solution Architect is fundamental in delivering Parkdean’s strategic projects and initiatives.

    You will be part of the Architecture team and will be responsible for the implementation of solutions in the CRM / Salesforce domain assigned to project delivery team for day-to-day operations.

    The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of business, solution and technology landscapes, coupled with the ability to develop and communicate comprehensive solution architectural designs.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead technical / functional design and delivery of CRM and Salesforce solutions.
    • Work closely with the project delivery and implementation teams to deliver CRM and Salesforce solutions.
    • Implement and maintain enterprise architecture framework, architecture standards, design patterns and best practices ensuring it aligns with organizational goals.
    • Design and document end-to-end solution and technical architecture solutions that address business needs and optimize system performance.
    • Collaborate with business teams, IT teams, business analysts and relationship manager, and other stakeholders to understand current and future business needs and translate them into solution architectural requirements.
    • Facilitate extensive cross-team solution design discussions, presenting alternative options, evaluating trade-offs, and conducting impact analyses with an emphasis on sustainable, long-term solutions.
    • Develop documentation and maintenance of solution architecture models for data, integrations, front-end, API, business logic etc.
    • Provide guidance on application and integration development best practices, Enterprise Architecture standards, and functional/technical solution architecture, including environment management, testing, and Salesforce Platform.
    • Working with the Enterprise Architects evaluate and recommend technologies and solutions that integrate with existing systems and processes.
    • Define, document, and deliver ‘as-is’, ‘to-be’ and transitionary solution architectures.
    • Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, fostering a shared understanding of architectural decisions.
    • Identify and proactively manage risk areas across the CRM / Salesforce domain and see issues through to completion.
