Serve up bold flavour and unforgettable experiences! We’re looking for a passionate and energetic Thunderbird Fried Chicken Assistant Manager to help lead one of our exciting quick‑service venues. As a Thunderbird Fried Chicken Assistant Manager, you’ll work closely with the Restaurant Manager to oversee all aspects of daily operations. You’ll lead high‑standard shifts, develop the team, deliver brand excellence, and take ownership of the business whenever the Manager is away. 

From food quality to team development to guest satisfaction, you’ll help ensure Thunderbird Fried Chicken delivers an experience guests can’t wait to come back for. 

What you will be doing...

• Acting as the Thunderbird brand ambassador, ensuring that the brand’s culture and standards come to life on the holiday park.  
• Supporting the restaurant manager to deliver your restaurant’s Profit & Loss (P&L) and monitor variable costs to identify key opportunities that maximise profitability.  
• Placing, receiving, and managing orders at an appropriate level,  
• Leading Gold Standard shifts that keep your team motivated, focused, and constantly driven to deliver an unparalleled guest experience.  
• Nurturing the development of Crew and Supervisors through the delivery of training plans and a thorough training curriculum.   
• Forecasting sales in line with budget and targets and monitoring internal and external trends to make informed sales decisions.  
• Supporting the restaurant manager in recruitment and schedule management, including interviews, rotas, and onboarding.  
• Completing stock counts in the absence of the restaurant manager and completing administrative tasks on their behalf when necessary.  
• Attending Manager meetings in place of the restaurant manager when necessary.  
• Representing the restaurant in the event of a food hygiene audit, demonstrating full compliance and confidence in all food safety and health & safety legislation.  
• Lead the team in breading, frying, plating and building some of the best fried chicken in town.  
• Take orders, serve food, and get to know our loyal guests while also doing everything you can to turn curious first timers into raving regulars. 

About you...

• Some managerial or supervisory experience within the hospitality industry, particularly around Quick Service or Fast-Food restaurants.  
• Hands-on knowledge of GP, sales and labour management.  
• Experience of food safety standards.   
• Someone who is guest focused and who can work at pace without compromising standards, delivering outstanding experiences at every opportunity.  
• Confident working in a fast paced and demanding food and beverage environment.  
• The flexibility to be able to work across varied days including weekends, evenings, and bank holidays as required.
