Lifeguard & Trainee Lifeguard Opportunities!

If you’ve got charisma, positive energy, and love to create amazing experiences for others, then joining our team as a Lifeguard could be right up your street!

Our Lifeguards must hold a current NPLQ Lifeguard qualification. If you’re passionate about starting your lifeguard career with us, we will provide you the training and qualification required. 

We will be hosting a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification the first week of July here at Trecco Bay Holiday Park. If successful to the course, candidates will need to undertake 36 hours of training undertaken by our RLSS Trainer Assessors, Upon successful completion you will join as one of our industry leading Lifeguards!

Course Requirements:

All applicants must be able to do the following prior to undertaking the course at PDR:

• - You must be over 16 years old on the day of assessment
• - Swim 50m in less than 1 minute
• - Swim 100m continuously on your front then 100m on your back
• - Tread water in deep water for more than 30 seconds
• - Surface dive to the deepest part of the pool
• - Climb out of the pool unaided

What you’ll be doing as our new Water Warrior... 

• Ensuring the safety of the public and give vital intervention, rescue and first aid when required 
• Deliver industry leading holiday park customer experiences within all areas of park 
• Undertake water activities and run sessions as an instructor
• Support and maintain the whole venue with cleaning, ongoing checks and other jobs where required 
• Undertaking continuous relevant training required to do your role
